Burning eyeballs and blowing expectations out of the water, the Moment Deathwish Skis are at it again. The 112 waist and Dirty Moustache Rocker slay powder, tear up hardpack, and will quickly convert you to the Deathwish cult. That's if the graphics don't hypnotize you first. With a damp aspen/pine core and a longer turning radius, you'll crush all conditions, because the Deathwish doesn't care. The madness inducing graphics also help clear out lift lines on busy weekends, but we can't confirm these reports.
Dirty Moustache Rocker – Rocker at the tip and tail, low center camber, and two sections of micro-camber embedded in front of and behind the binding. Rocker and low camber let the ski surf and slash in powder, while the micro-camber sections create focused edge pressure for carving hardpack.
7 / 10 – Medium-stiff flex for a wide range of snow conditions.
Aspen / Pine – Strong, light, and poppy, with a great ride thanks to the dampening performance of pine, Moment's aspen/pine core is the foundation of their all-mountain and powder skis.
VDS (Vibration Dampening Strip)
Fiberglass Matrix – In addition to carbon fiber, Moment uses three types of fiberglass laminates to fine-tune each ski's flex pattern. Triaxial glass adds twisting strength and longitudinal stiffness. Biaxial weaves add torsional stiffness. Unidirectional glass helps absorb vibration and stiffen the ski from tip to tail.
Carbon Fiber Stringers – Moment uses carbon fiber in all of its skis, either in the form of woven uni-directional stringers or carbon tow threads added to the laminate matrix. Lighter than fiberglass, metal, or basalt, carbon helps tune and strengthen the ski while adding longevity to the flex profile.
Reinforced Binding Mount Layer
Nylon Topsheet
Extruded UHMW (Polyethylene) – Extremely light, durable, and resistant to separation.
1.2 mm Durasurf 4001 Sintered Base – This U.S. made base material takes a beating while staying fast. It is harder and has better wax-absorption properties than extruded bases, making it the industry standard for performance and longevity.
2.2 mm Rockwell 48 Steel Edges – Heat-treated both at the source and in-house at Moment, these edges are extremely hard and ductile, ensuring you get the most life out of your skis.

We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
