Blizzard set out to make an all-mountain shredder that was more inclined to backcountry days, and according to the Skiers Choice and Backcountry Gear Guide Select Awards, it looks like they succeeded with the Blizzard Scout Skis. Testers report that the Scout skis with much of the same performance as the Blizzard Corhise but just a dash more of a backcountry-friendly style. With 108 mm underfoot and Blizzard's Flipcore Natural Rocker, the Scout shreds new snow just as hard as it rips apart groomers. Not quite a pow ski, not quite a carver, but equally comfortable in both situations, the Scout could be your new favorite ski.
Full rocker
Better energy transmission – Constant edge pressure over the entire length of the ski. Dynamic force distribution from edge to edge
Increased torsional stiffness – Stable edge grip, perfect control, highest carving performance
Increased impact strength – Direct handling, increased stability of the entire construction, longlife construction, more impact resistant
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
