You will learn about the required equipment, how to weight your boat, and easy step-by-step instructions on how to get up for the first time. Wakesurfing has gained popularity because surfers got tired of the “paddle and wait” game that they had to play to catch the perfect ride. Inboard boats now have water ballast systems that hold water in tanks to weigh the boat down creating monstrous wakes, which surfers saw and started using for their sport.
