I really enjoyed this movie. As a traveller and life long skiier it was great. Its a bit different animal than the run of the mill ski movies with a cool sound track, artsy camera work, and attention to all details of the process and the sport. Gives you the sense that it was made by people that cant forget the simple beauty of skiing. Pure sport, and a fresh view from the lens made this movie a nice break and great inspiration.

Finally some ski cinema that dares to omit endless clips of 13 year-olds in XXL t-shirts doing rail slides in downtown Salt Lake. Nimbus shoots some film that demonstrates what soul-skiing is all about. Think powder, fat boards, back-country lines, cliff-hucking, and some entertaining Polish dudes... All in all, a great watch.

This movie was really fantastic and connected with me on the deepest level of my love for skiing. It was great to see them stay true to the sport and shoot it like real people would. The locations were fantastic, the skiing was progressive and awe-inspiring. I was extremely blown away by the scenic and visionary way it was shot. The night shoots were spectacular. I would highly recommend this movie to any skier or non-skier alike. It is truly a future classic.

Contrast does what it says on the tin: it offers something a little bit different to the typical big-budget ski movie. Put together by the athletes with clips where they talk about the skiing experience and an emphasis on light and colour, the result is a film that remains chock full of amazing snow and phenomenal skiing. But rather than the often-frenetic pace of ski movies, this has a dreamy quality to the overall atmosphere that's very absorbing. Well worth a watch.

This was a quality documentary that really showed the power of skiing. The bonus video has about 3 hours extra of Nimbus webisodes that rock! These guys still slay

Great soul skiing throughout the movie. Very relaxed, but sick spins, drops, lines, etc. Andy Mahre, Pep Fujas, etc. threw it down.

I would fall asleep to this any night of the week. I would wake up early to watch this before hitting the hill. I would seriously buy anything Eric Pollard is involved with, period - this is incredible. I can't really think of a circumstance where slow motion doesn't make reality that much cooler than it is, unless plied with an incredible soundtrack...check, got it. Get this DVD!!!
