Product Info

The Patagonia Ultralight Down Jacket is Patagonia's lightest-weight down jacket. A slim silhouette is more thermally efficient and helps seal the warmth in. A superlight nylon shell that's been treated with a DWR coating helps to shed moisture and snow. Perfect as a layering piece under a shell on blistery alpine approaches, exposed ridges, dawn patrol tours, and shadowy belays, the Patagonia Ultralight Down Jacket will keep you warm and comfortable even when Mother Nature is throwing a little tantrum.

Comments about Patagonia Ultralight Down Jacket:

So I had a several year old Patagonia lightweight down jacket (the "down sweater" I think they called it), that got melted in a welding incident (life lesson - don't weld in these jackets, even if cold). Anyway, the damage was bad enough that I needed a new version, as I didn't feel right sending back to Patagonia under their lifetime warranty.

This jacket is a bit heavier than my previous one, and a bit more fitted. Both these things work for me. It's a real down jacket, and you can feel it (the last one was a synthetic down). I've not worn this in weather yet (it's summer), but don't have any concerns that I'll be unhappy with the coat. I was able to pick it up during a rare Patagonia sale, so that knocked 30% off the price, making this a good deal as well as a great jacket.

    Service and delivery comments:

Arrived in just a day or two, faster than promised (in-store pickup rocks).
