I really love this jacket mainly because it looks awesome. The removable vest is great, on colder days it keeps your core nice and warm while your arms still have full range of motion. Also there are tons of pockets to stash everything you might need on the mountain. I do have a few criticisms. The hood is the same as you would find on a regular hoodie. I like the look but it is not water proof at all, so once it gets wet you feel this cold wet piece of cloth behind your neck the rest of the day. And for a coat meant for snowboarding it doesn't seem all that durable. I keep having the material snag on my board even though there is really nothing for it to snag on and I also had to return the first one I bought because the stitching on the vest came loose after just a few days on the mountain. It's really a give and take. I could have exchanged it for another coat after the first one but I didn't because I love the look, but I really don't think it is going to hold up more that a season or two.

My boyfriend really wanted this jacket, so I got it for him and now it is all he wears. It is awesome for everything winter!

The jacket and vest compliment each other perfectly with a sweet street style. The Jacket is nice and long but not too long. Long enough to cover your butt but not your knees ;) I'm unsure about the knit hood though. I can't see it being too waterproof when it's dumping! I would probably have preferred a hood made from the same material as the jacket. I noticed the chicks version is like this...
