Skateboarding has been the most influential thing in my life. My first love. It introduced me to different kinds of music, it gave me the opportunity to travel all over the country and meet some of my best friends. Skateboarding gives you a different perspective. You look at your surroundings differently. Most importantly, it gives you a sense of community. I can go anywhere in the world and have an instant bond with someone who skates. Skateboarding breaks down all barriers. I have fun skateboarding with any gender, age, or ethnicity because none of that matters when you are skateboarding. We are all skateboarders. All Together Skatepark is, and always will be about the skateboard community, with a strong focus on the youth. To be able to help teach life lessons like picking yourself up and trying again, or watching self-confidence levels go up after achieving something they've been working on is extremely rewarding. To learn something like that at a young age is priceless!

Choosing Kids' Skate Gear:

After teaching thousands of kids how to skateboard over that past few years, we have learned it is all about getting the right size. Here are a few tips to keep in mind when buying kids' skate products:

  • Skateboards - We recommend complete skateboards between 7.75" and 8" for stability.
  • Helmets - Look for a snug but comfortable fit. Helmets should not move around on the head.
  • Pad Sets - Knee, elbow and wrist guards should not move around when Velcro is set.
  • Building your own skateboard is fun! Learn more about building and gripping your own deck with the guides below.
