There’s something about riding a bike that makes you feel like a kid again. It’s freeing, invigorating, challenging, and just plain fun. It can also be scary and hard, whether you’re trying out mountain biking for the first time, or have been riding for years. As women in the bike world, we embrace all of these realities and are excited to help other women progress in their riding and participate in the biking community. I’d bet that if you ask most women (though not all by any means), their experience is less about the perfect bike and more about the community we ride with, the beautiful view, the gear enabling the feeling of accomplishment and silly fun of it.
