How did you get your name?
Pubs is short for public, or public art. Public art refers to works of art in any media that has been planned and executed with the specific intention of being sited or staged in the public domain, usually outside and accessible to all. I like having everyday people confronted with my work, especially when its burning on a wall for years for all to see.

What's the best part about your job or working at evo?
I roll in on the bus from Tacoma and unpack my backpack and impact the customer. I love coming in and being able to be creative and really do something I'm passionate about. Work wouldn't be the same if I wasn't surrounded by such a fun group of people and also the ever rotating Timesinfinity art gallery keeps me hyped and connected to art outside of graphic design.

What does the big dog Bryce have to say about you?
Pubs One. What can I say? Pubs came in to evo, put his head down with one of the strongest work ethics I’ve ever seen and completely reinvented how we communicate who we are in a visual sense. From the raw talent seen in his many graff pieces around The Puget Sound region to his refined designs that you’ll see on an evo landing page, Pubs has shown that his thoughtfulness when it comes to the evo brand. His passion to produce the best work has made him invaluable to the evo team. Not only does Pubs have an eye for the right look and feel but he has proven that he has what it takes to be a very strong leader within the organization. He started humbly as a design intern and has quickly established himself as a champion for the evo brand that’s not afraid to step up and state what’s when it comes to communicating our brand to the outside world. We all feel very fortunate to have Pubs on the team and we can’t wait to see what’s next. bp
