INTERVIEW
How did you come to work at evo?
I first had contact with evo back in 2005 as I was starting my own brand named GIV and trying to get it going here in the PNW. 8 years later after a few stints freelancing with some fashion brands and full time with some other companies, Bryce contacted me about coming on board.

How did you come to work at evo?

What's your weapon of choice?
Pencil, Pen, Wacom, Guitar, Snowboard...do I have to choose?

Spare Time?
Hanging with the fam, Shredding, doodling, or chilling with a guitar in hand.

Favorite Place to shred?
Locally I'd go with Stevens Pass as it has everything I can ask for me and my 6 yr old shredder. I also take a trip back home to 49 Degrees North, the mountain I grew up shredding. I would have to say though that some of my fondest memories of riding were back in the Utah Backcountry (Wolverine Cirque, Flagstaff, Grizzley Gulch, Superior).

Why the Northwest? Why Seattle?
It has beaches for my California girl and Mountains for me. It has great seasonal changes, cultural activities, a decent art scene and makes me stare in awe at least once a day. Also I think the summers may be the most best kept secret of this place...I mean we never see the sun. Ever - IT RAINS EVERY DAY, ALL DAY.

Why are you so stoked all the time?
I believe that happiness is a choice. You can choose to be stoked on life and deal with what may come or choose to be down on the things you can't control and allow that to swallow you whole. I have definitely found myself in the belly of the beast before I figured that out though.
