How do you say that last name?
Poer...it doesn't have fancy accents on the "e-r" like most people try to make it. Just like "pour" or "poor," rhymes with "four."
First time skiing?
I was 3 or 4. The little kids' skicamp at Mt. Hood has a terrifying big fuzzy bear mascot man who wrangles the kids for lessons. I hid from the bear in the bathroom until it was time for the parents to pick us up. After that, I had no fear going up/down a mountain as long as I didn't have to encounter the kiddie ski camp bear.
Least Favorite Animal?
Not that I don't like whales, but I do have a super irrational fear of the size of whales.
Regrets?
Not practicing German when my family moved back to WA. after having lived in Germany for a year when I was 5. I was completely fluent in German and other dialects!! Now I can't remember a thing! Huge regret.
Why the Northwest? Why Seattle?
I love the PNW. Water, trees, mountains. yay!
How did you come to work at evo?
I joined the evo photo crew full time July 2012 after finishing evo's photography internship and I couldn't be happier!
