Organic Skin Care Products

Skin care products should be both safe and effective but unfortunately, many are not. Because skin care products are not subject to the rigorous safety testing required of medications, the vast majority of anufacturers do not conduct long term studies to make sure their products do not cause side effects. Recent tests from industry watchdogs such as the Environmental Working Group have demonstrated that many well known products contain toxic chemicals, some of which have been linked to cancer.

Organic skin care products, such as those offered by Paul Penders, avoid this problem by using natural ingredients sourced from the earth, rather than the laboratory. Botanicals are carefully selected based upon their ability to heal and protect, without synthetic fertilizers and pesticides. During manufacturing, the usage of synthetic additives such as preservatives is also minimized, ensuring that the final product is as "natural" as possible.
