Niman Ranch lamb is raised on environmentally sustainable, family-owned ranches in California and Utah. The animals are pasture fed for most of their lives, then finished on 100% vegetarian, high-quality natural grains and dried forage in a low-stress feed yard with ample room. Our lambs are never given antibiotics or growth hormones.
Our ranchers follow sustainable grazing practices which includes pasture rotation that protects native plant species while providing naturally fertilized and nutrient-rich fields for growing feed.
