Boys Clothes

Josie Jesser lives and designs in Austin, TX. She started sewing after her daughter Cate was born in 2002, and is still going! She is originally from New York State and has studied garment making in Boston and at the Austin School of Fashion Design. She launched her line of children's clothing in 2004 at an Austin Christmas show with a set of boy's pajamas in red striped linen. They sold out and since then she continues to create unique, well-tailored children's garments out of the best natural fabrics available. As she continued to research the available fabrics and grow her business, Josie felt the only responsible choice was to use 100% certified organic cotton.

For her summer 2007 line Josie has chosen to use the beautiful, 100% organic fabrics of Harmony Susalla to give the pieces a unique and soothing quality. Harmony's use of elements from nature in her design lends itself beautifully to childrenswear. The colors that kids love are all present in pure and natural tones which come from environmentally friendly dyes. Best of all, the weave of the fabric, a cotton sateen, produces a durable, smooth garment that is easy to care for.
