American Superconductor Corporation has a strategic business alliance agreement with Siemens AG to develop 2G HTS wire for fault current limiters; and a strategic business alliance with the Shanghai Electric Cable Research Institute to develop and promote the use of high temperature superconductor power cables in the People's Republic of China.
