Castor & Pollux Pet Works launched ORGANIX in 2003 following the successful introduction in 2000 of over 150 premium, natural pet products including toys, leashes, collars, litter, treats, shampoo, rawhides, and catnip. With 15 years in the pet food industry, coupled with the expertise of their PhD Board Certified Animal Nutritionist and Veterinarian, Castor & Pollux created ORGANIX to provide pet owners with an organic, meat-based protein pet food.

The original ORGANIX Canine and Feline Formulas were the first pet foods to meet the USDA “made with organic ingredients” labeling regulations. In 2004, ORGANIX Organic Dog Cookies and Cat Treats were added to the ORGANIX line. These USDA certified 95 percent organic dog and cat treats are made with organic certified organic chicken, rather than non-nutritional fillers like grains and cereals.
