I have been using these skins for about a month now in springtime backcountry conditions and they still look brand new. These skins are durable so skinning across the occasional exposed branch is no problem. The traction is fantastic (although there's almost too much traction when moving forward). Let's see, they're pretty light, cause a cool neon green reflection on the snow, and are very easy to put on and off. My only real concern with these skins is that with the sticky side that attaches to the ski, if it's a really cold day and you get snow on that side, they will not stick to the ski at all. I've tried putting them on and climbing with them anyway, but it does not work. The only solution is to warm them up until the snow on the sticky side melts. However, I've found that as long as I do not drop them in the snow, I do not run into this problem. Overall, I am pleased.
