Ascension Nylon - Black Diamond has completely redesigned their nylon plush for unmatched performance on steep climbs and variable snow conditions with longer, flatter fibers that give superior glide on flat approaches. The material also maintains an ideal stiffness-to-packability ratio that lets them fold easily but still stay manageable in windy conditions.
Tip and Tail Attachments
Tip Loops - Black Diamond tip loops fit a wide range of tip shapes and widths and can be easily adjusted to swap back and forth between different skis in your quiver. Unlike other laminated or sewn-in tip loop attachments, these are fully replaceable.
Tail Straps - Strong, reliable and with an even stretch throughout, the STS tail straps are easily adjusted in the field.

Compatibility
Compatible on any ski with the appropriate length and width; we suggest a skin that is approximately 6 mm narrower than the widest part of the ski you are trying to cover.
