Comments about Athalon The "Amped" Heated Boot Bag:
I've tried to warm my ski boots using only the car's 12v outlet for testing purposes and the boots remained cold after plugging it in for 3 hours. What I've found that works best is to plug in the bag at home on the 110v outlet for a few hours or over night and maintain the warmth during the drive up the mountain by using the car's 12v outlet. The boots remained warm for 2 to 3 hours of skiing and remained comfortable for the rest of the day.
The bag itself also provides various pockets, side zip compartments, and plenty of room for your clothing and helmet.
The backpack function I find uncomfortable because the bag sits on your upper back and unless you've got the straps as tight as possible, it will wobble from side to side.
I highly this product for its ability to warm the ski boots and to carry various clothing, gears, and the helmet.
