Comments about The North Face Isabella Backpack - Women's:

I use this for commuting to work. It is a great bag for that purpose - not so bulky as to be annoying on mass transit, carries just what I need for work (laptop, phones, a notebook, plus my wallet, keys, sunglasses, water, and lip balm), and minimal and sleek so as to still look professional (for a casual work environment). Also, the black with gold detail is on point!

Comments about The North Face Isabella Backpack - Women's:

I saw this backpack online and was so excited to order it, but knew that I'd prefer to see it in person before purchasing. Fortunately, my hometown just got its own North Face store, and I was happy to see that it carries almost all of the colors available online excluding the "Cosmic Blue" version.

This is a very sleek, sturdy, and functional bag. All of the pockets are not only easily accessible but also reasonably sized. I'm not worried about any of my things (mostly small electronics and office accessories) not fitting or disappearing into an giant abyss, and the color combinations are such that I wouldn't sacrifice my business casual look either. While I normally only pack my wallet, planner, Kindle, iPhone and charger in this bag, there's still ample space for my 13-inch MacBook Pro and charger, and depending on how I pack everything, even an extra change of clothes. I totally foresee this not only being my go-to bag for work, but also travel.

It should be noted that there are a couple outer pocket-like areas that are not entirely secure (no zippers), such as on the right-hand size where a rather small/skinny water bottle or umbrella might fit and underneath the NF logo on the back. Ultimately, I do not see those as huge downsides. Just don't put super bulky items in those areas where they can pop out, and you should be good to go.
