The K2 BackSide Pilchuck Kit includes a well-designed minimalist pack and your avalanche essentials (minus transceiver) in one package, and is perfect for adventurous resort or sidecountry riders who don’t want to be weighed down or pushed off the chair by a bigger pack. The kit includes the Pilchuck 11 liter pack, K2 Carbon 230 Avalanche Probe, and K2 Speed Shovel. The K2 Pilchuck Pack has a super slim profile with enough space for just the essentials, and will carry skis in either the A-frame or diagonal positions. The K2 Carbon 230 Avalanche Probe is light, strong and compact and deploys easily with gloves on. The K2 Speed Shovel their lightest shovel offering, comes in at a weight of 700 grams, and features a streamlined T-handle.
