It’s a great choice for all-day riding in the sidecountry or fast-and-light day touring. The kit includes the Hyak 15 liter pack, K2 Carbon 230 Avalanche Probe, and K2 Speed Shovel. The K2 Hyak Pack has a slim profile with enough space for your avalanche essentials and more, and will carry skis in either the A-frame or diagonal positions. The K2 Carbon 230 Avalanche Probe is light, strong and compact and deploys easily with gloves on// The K2 Speed Shovel is their lightest shovel offering, comes in at a weight of 700 grams, and features a streamlined T-handle and light but strong 7075 Alloy construction.
