Great Backcountry Tool

Comments about BCA BC Link Group Communication System:

I used these radios most of last season. They are great in the backcountry especially when traveling in complex backcountry terrain. In stormy conditions or when there is no line of sight between stopping or safe zones it is incredibly helpful to have clear communication amongst the party and these radios allow for it. The sound is very clear, just make sure to not hold the radio at least a couple of inches from your mouth, I actually and they are incredibly easy to both program and use.

Comments about BCA BC Link Group Communication System:

I swear by these BCA Link Radios for skiing in the resort and backcountry. They're a critical piece of my backcountry ski kit and everyone in my ski circle brings them for tours, allowing us to share info and check in on the skintrack or evaluate conditions and scout different lines. Even in the resort, we bring them on our packs for powder days, and it's proven really useful for keeping the group together instead of standing around and trying to figure out where someone went at the bottom of a run. Plus - it's fun to be able to heckle your friends mid-run! They're really easy to use, just keep the main unit in your pack with the shoulder key mic out on the shoulder strap. The only thing you really need to worry about is making sure everyone's on the same frequency. I used to carry old Motorola radios, but I prefer these Link radios so much more.
