Based on another female snowboarder's review, I bought this body armor.

For reference, I am a 5'3 female and weigh 123lbs.

This is a small Mens suit, but I thought I could at least fit in it, which I did, but man, I was very aware it was not made to fit my body. It's very wide in the shoulders, the body gapes at the sides, and the spinal plate is very rigid and was too long for my torso. I was hoping for a lightweight and flexible support, but every movement made me hugely aware of the plate stuck to my back. The elbow pads made it incredibly uncomfortable, never mind so huge that I couldn't fit my jacket over it.

Unfortunately, I had to send it back. I'll just have to rely on having a camelback full of water to shield my back. So far, it's working...

I love this body armour - you barely notice you're wearing it. First day of the season I went down on my chipped elbow - didn't feel a thing!!! It paid for itself then and there. Ultimately this is cheap insurance - accidents happen and this just affords you a little extra protection.

This jacket is sweet! I do not ride without it!! I snowboard and this makes me much more confident. I bought a complete set of Poc body armor this year and it has already more than paid for itself!! This jacket also replaces a hoodie that I used to wear. Now I only ride with a long sleeve and this armor under my jacket, plus no one can tell I am wearing it. Body armor is the best purchase I have ever made in 16 years of snowboarding!!
