Product Info

This is the boot the whole touring world has been waiting for. The Dynafit Vulcan TF Alpine Touring Ski Boots (otherwise known as the "Hoji" boots after pro skier and co-developer Eric Hjorliefson) evolved over the course of last season with Eric using his stash of miscellaneous boot parts to build up the ideal freetouring "Frankenboot." Crazy stiff when buckled due to the carbon fiber cuff, insane range of motion when skinning due to the Ultra-Lock Buckle System and it's 60˚ cuff rotation, and with fantastic heel hold-down from a middle buckle that lines up perfectly with your calcaneous, this boot is set to take over the backcountry freeride scene like wildfire. Why fight it? Pour some gas on the flames and light it up with the Dynafit Vulcan TF "Hoji" boot.

Comments about Dynafit Vulcan TF Alpine Touring Ski Boots 2015:

These boots are even better than the Product Reviews I had checked out before using them. By far best combination of strength to lightweight boot I have been in to date. The downhill performance is impressive. Dynafit has figured out the uneven flex issues seen with other stiff, lightwieght, tech boots. I skied these in a 27.5 that seemed to have a hairly narrow toe box. My everyday touring boot is a 28, but I was able to squeeze into these. If they were used for a full season a little bit of toe work might be needed as the last seemed a tiny bit narrow. Dynafit definitely nailed the high end freeride tech boot!

Comments about Dynafit Vulcan TF Alpine Touring Ski Boots 2015:

Expected nothing less than superior performance for the price and they deliver. As others have said, unbelievable touring boot. Very light, fantastic walk mode, when buckled up and strapped in a stiff ski boot. Easily handles my 190cm BD Verdicts. Went w/same boot size as regular downhill boot w/no major issues. Greg @ shop heat molded one hot spot out for me and was very knowledgeable, helpful and informative. I find these comfortable to the point I hiked in them for 10 miles w/o getting blisters or sore feet.

Comments about Dynafit Vulcan TF Alpine Touring Ski Boots 2015:

This is an unbelieveale touring boot. Can drive any touring ski. It does have a limit if you plan on mounting burly ski's and are in difficult conditions and super high speeds. Other than that I couldn't recommend these enough
