The lighter, slightly more nimble sibling of the Duke, the Marker Baron EPF Small Ski Bindings are just like their big brother, but with a more accommodating DIN range of 4-13. An extended power frame (EPF) works in combination with the Power Width Design to increase power transmission and overall handling on wider skis. Three different climbing angles assist with backcountry climbs, while the Triple Pivot Elite Toe and Inter Pivot Heel maintain top of the line performance on the way down. Ride lift-assisted runs to your heart's content and then duck out for a few slackcountry laps with the tour-ready Marker Baron EPF Small Ski Bindings.
Triple Pivot Elite Toe - With a horizontally oriented spring, the Triple Pivot Elite Toe provides the highest energy absorption to reduce the risk of early release. The secure purchase on the boot lug optimizes power transmission and allows for durable, high energy use. The performance to weight ratio of the Triple Pivot toe is truly unmatched in the industry.
AFD Gliding Plate - All Marker bindings are equipped with a moveable AFD (anti friction device), allowing a precise release, unhindered by dirt, snow and ice buildup. The type of AFD is matched to the skier type, ensuring perfect functionality from racing to junior bindings and even ski touring.
Inter Pivot Heel - This industry-leading construction delivers superior holding power for all types of freeskiing. Its design focuses power in the direction of the boot sole, increasing elasticity. The overall design focuses on optimum power transmission.
Tour Mode
0˚ / 7˚ / 13˚ Climbing Aid - The titanium climbing aid offers three positions – flat, 7° and 13° which can easily be accessed with the ski pole.
Backcountry Technology - The integrated climbing lever features a safe, secure transition from ride to hike. The hiking aid offers flat, 7° and 13° positions. In ski mode, the BCT lever is protected from unwanted releases.
Boot Compatibility
Size Small - Fits BSL (Boot Sole Lengths) 265 - 325 mm
Alpine / AT Compatible - Compatible with Alpine (ISO 5355) and AT (ISO 9523) soled boots.
Additional Features
Power Width Design - The original Marker breakthrough for wider freeskiing skis, based on a 76mm platform. Wider connection brackets create better power transmission for all Marker Royal Family and Tour bindings.
Hollow Tech - Our fiber-reinforced frame provides impressive stability and is yet very light, thanks to a hollow, gas injected construction.
Ski Compatibility
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.

  • Type: Frame
  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
