The lightweight Fritschi Diamir Scout Short Ski Bindings combine a natural striding hinge point for skinning and the ease of use and reliability associated with high-end alpine bindings. The Diamir Scout maintains full release capability at your normal settings even while skinning, a definite safety advantage when snow stability is suspect.
Toe
Polycarbonate toe with elastomer regulated lateral release
Gliding Technology with a wide toe piece hinge
Max DIN 12, and DIN certified for both AT and alpine boot soles
Adjustable height toe fits both AT and Alpine boots.
Heel
Max DIN 12, and DIN certified for both AT and alpine boot soles
Tour Mode
Four-level heel elevator
Free-gliding heel bar with integrated lock prevents accidental release into tour mode.
Additional Features
Short - Fits boot sole lengths from 260-315 mm
Ski Compatibility
Included brake fits up to 95 mm ski width
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.

      I was looking for a more lightweight binding than what I currently had-this fits the bill!Used them for the first time last weekend doing some side country stuff in about 6"-8" of new snow.super easy to get into and out of. pretty lightweight and easily adjustable touring heights.I would definately recommend these to a beginner through a more advanced skier.As always awesome service with Evo!
