A dream for both skiers and boot fitters, the Nordica NRGy Pro 2 Ski Boots maximize customization options for your utmost comfort and control when it comes time to click in. Almost everything on the boot can be unscrewed, making the NRGy Pros incredibly easy to modify if necessary. Nordica's Custom Cork Fit Liner combines the precision and responsiveness of a high end race liner with the customized, heat-molded features your feet will love, while the stiffer 120 flex and a pinned cuff make the Nordica NRGy Pro 2 Ski Boots ultra-responsive for everything from carving groomers to charging steep pow. When it finally comes time to let go of your 20 year old boots with worn down soles and a paper thin liner (hint: if that applies to you, it's time), think Nordica NRGy Pro 2!
Boot Fitter's Best Friend (BBF) - Nordica recognizes the importance of custom boot fitting and make their boots the easiest to work with for custom boot fitters. Nordica has added custom Gridworx and screwed parts making customizing a breeze.
Screwed Parts - SCREW IT! Making their boots easier to work on than ever for the custom boot fitter, Nordica uses easy to remove screws instead of rivets on their buckles, straps, and canting.
Weather Shield - A new overlap system integrated into the shell provides a fully waterproof feature to prevent water from leaking into the boot. And as we all know, dry feet are warm and comfortable feet!
Last: 100 mm - An average width that accommodates the vast majority of foot shapes.
Dynamic Performance Code 120-2-H - 120 (stiffness) is a stiff flex for advanced to expert skiers // 2x (progression) - the boot stiffness almost doubles at it's deepest flexing point // High (rebound) returns the boot at a high rate for quicker turns and edge change.
High Performance Hinge - Hinge point is located high up on the shell and further back to allow for precise energy transmission and rebound.
Custom Cork Fit Liner - Building on the proven natural performance characteristics of cork, Nordica introduces the Custom Cork Liner as part of the NRGy series of boots. The specifically engineered cork and resin compound integrated into the liner wraps the foot in comfort and performance. In addition to being a great natural insulator, due to its superior density, cork provides the greatest transmission of power from boot to ski. Unlike foam and other boot liner materials, it doesn't compress when engaging the edge - making turning in NRGy boots extremely precise and responsive.
Shell Materials
Zeppa (Boot Board) Material - A Polyurethane boot board offers a solid foundation under foot that delivers the optimal performance and accommodates the liner in the shell for the most anatomical fit.
Pinned Performance Cuff - The most proven and effective way to marry the cuff to the lower shell is through metal pins. It ensures the best marriage of the two boot pieces for maximum performance.
Single Canting (Cuff Alignment) - A screwed single canting mechanism enables Nordica NRGy boots to be adjusted for cuff alignment.
Power Strap
Height Adjustable Strap - 8 mm + / - power strap height.
High Traction Dual Density PU Soles - Providing the best possible traction for hiking in the backcountry or up to a rail set, or simply just navigating your way around the lodge.
High Traction Canted Sole Parts (Sold Seperately) - Nordica is able to offer a quick canting solution of plus or minus 1 degree for your boots.
