Rossignol Axial2 120 XL Ski Bindings (100mm Brakes) 2013

Rossignol Axial2 120 XL Ski Bindings (100 mm Brakes) 2013: The Rossignol Axial2 120 XL Ski Bindings are high performance bindings that come with 100 mm brakes that are perfect for fat skis. The reinforced Dual Action toepiece has 180 degree multi-directional release with high vertical and lateral elastic travel to provide shock absorption, reducing inadvertent release. The lateral arms of the heelpiece are angled down for better power transmission to the edge of the ski. With 25 mm of elastic travel, the heelpiece provides the longest travel of any binding on the market and further prevents unwanted pre-release. The Rossignol Axial2 120 XL Ski Bindings are high-performance binding with a DIN range of 3.5-12 for serious freeskiers.

  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
    Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.

Comments about Rossignol Axial2 120 XL Ski Bindings (100mm Brakes) 2013:

Mainly a downhill dude here. Had these puppies mounted on a pair of new 160cm Rossignol Storms (waist width of 92mm). The bindings are constructed well, look good (went with the dark grey brush), and are easy to get in and out of. These are definitely a huge upgrade from the Elan bindings I was riding previously- would recommend! :D

Comments about Rossignol Axial2 120 XL Ski Bindings (100mm Brakes) 2013:

Been skiing on Rossignols for many, many years. Sort of aggressive, and like the pow, and the groomed! I usually try to stay with the same brand bindings, hence this review. If you are looking for a winning combination, this binding and these skis go together well. I have been looking for bindings that are not heavy and can handle my weight (130) without being too expensive and too much binding(!) if there such a thing, I don't know. My usual haunts are; Crystal, and Bachelor, so the snow conditions vary quite a bit, Haven't really lost a ski(this year!). But I am confident knowing this binding is good for me. The guy that set me up was very informative and helpful about what combinations that would be good with my new E-88's. The guy who mounted them agreed..... My next choices; the new Look, or the next upper end Rossi turntable bindings. Highly recommend.
