Marker Jester Ski Bindings (90mm Brakes) 2012: The Marker Jester Ski Bindings are for the high-performance minded freeskier who wants a lightweight, secure binding for the ultimate combination of pipe, park, or lift-served big-mountain performance. With a short contact area for lower swing weight and low stand height combined with durable metal components, the Jester is low profile, high end performance.
Special Features
Level stand position
Short contact area for centralized swing weight
Stainless steel height adjustable AFD
22mm low stand height above ski
No-pull-out screws (heel)
Freeride brake
Recommended Use
The Marker Jester is designed for heavier weight or aggressive freeriders and freeskiers with its higher DIN and metal construction.
Compatibility
We recommend a brake width that is equal to the ski waist width and at most 15mm wider.
Construction
Power-Width-Design gives freeskiing bindings the ultimate power transmission for today's wide skis with the shortest frame of all hiking models in the market, 10 mm wider interface than traditional bindings (not built around the historic 63 mm SL ski like conventional bindings), and connection brackets extend upward on the outside for the ultimate power transmission.
Triple-Pivot Elite toe with a 5° sole holder angle, high energy absorption to prevent pre-release with 32mm elasticity, and increased boot lug contact.
Inter-Pivot heel design focuses power in direction of boot sole and elasticity direction for superior holding power and energy transfer with 34 mm elasticity.
Magnesium components for extra durability

Comments about Marker Jester Ski Bindings (90mm Brakes) 2012:

These are great bindings I used them in deep pow and getting them on even with snow on my boots was not a challenge, they also handled drops of 10ft no trouble. The bindings offered me great power transmission over the whole mountain. Now for my only criticism, the weight, the binding just seems a little too heavy for my liking, but this does not detract from any of the bindings other positive aspects. If your looking for a freeride/big mountain binding then this is for you, quality looks and performance, I would expect no less from marker.
