Marker Griffon Ski Bindings (90mm Brakes) 2012: The Marker Griffon Ski Bindings have earned a place as the go-to binding in the market for anyone looking for a high performance, 13 DIN freeskiing binding. With a short contact area for lower swing weight and low stand height, the Griffon is low profile, high end performance.
Special Features
Level stand position
Short contact area for centralized swing weight
Stainless steel, height adjustable AFD
22mm low stand height above ski
No-pull-out screws (heel)
Freeride brake
Recommended Use
The Marker Griffon is designed for lighter weight or moderately aggressive freeriders and freeskiers.
Compatibility
We recommend a brake width that is equal to the ski waist width and at most 15mm wider.
Construction
Power-Width-Design gives freeskiing bindings the ultimate power transmission for today's wide skis with the shortest frame of all hiking models in the market, 10 mm wider interface than traditional bindings (not built around the historic 63 mm SL ski like conventional bindings), and connection brackets extend upward on the outside for the ultimate power transmission.
Triple-Pivot Elite toe with a 5° sole holder angle, high energy absorption to prevent pre-release with 32mm elasticity, and increased boot lug contact.
Inter-Pivot heel design focuses power in direction of boot sole and elasticity direction for superior holding power and energy transfer with 34 mm elasticity.
Weight
