4FRNT Deadbolt 18 Ski Bindings (97mm brakes) 2012: Freeskiing requires specific technology and safety features that are different than the traditional race binding. Implementing the feedback of its pro team, 4FRNT has developed the 4FRNT Deadbolt 18 Ski Bindings to meet the high demands of the freeskiing public with 180 degree release, reinforced steel, and zero ramp angle. Welcome to the Night of the Living Deadbolt.
Special Features
Four Rollers and gliding inserts ensure 180 degree release and exact centering of ski boot.
Oversized AFD
Recommended Use
The 4FRNT Deadbolt 18 is ideal for most aggressive or heavier freeskiers with its beefy toe and an 8-18 DIN range.
Compatibility
We recommend a brake width that is equal to the ski waist width and at most 15mm wider.
Compatible with MFD ALLTIME plate to turn your Deadbolts into alpine touring machines
Construction
Diagonal Toe has 180 degree release from vertical to horizontal, lowering pressure to the knee ligaments during a forward or backward twisting fall.
Zero Ramp Angle puts shin in a neutral position to allow more effective, stable switch riding.

Comments about 4FRNT Deadbolt 18 Ski Bindings (97mm brakes) 2012:

I love these bindings, I've been on them for about two weeks now, they are great, the zero ramp angle really shows, when your mobbing switch, you dont feel like your leaning forward too much. The High Din setting is sweet when hitting big jumps (and landing), as well as spining on/off rails and boxes, you really get a sense of being secure. The entry and exit is very prime, and for the weight, compared to my old bindings, these are feathers. And of course the Color scheme is Boss.
