This all-inclusive, choose your own adventure ski package is perfect for the independent traveler.

Craft your ideal Utah ski trip, with evo Hotel as your adventure basecamp. This trip package is designed to be a one-stop shop and is customizable to meet your needs. Pick the number of nights and number of lift tickets you prefer; over the dates you wish to book (subject to availability). With lift tickets valid at the surrounding ski resorts of Snowbird, Alta, Brighton, and Solitude, you can fully choose your own adventure and sample the ski areas you’d like. With evo service, complimentary rentals, and retail shops at your fingertips, as well as other optional add-ons like transfers and guiding, we’ll take care of the logistics so you can focus on the fun stuff.

Complimentary premium ski or snowboard rentals, courtesy of evo, are included for the duration of your stay.

Day 1:

Arrive to evo Hotel, located on Campus Salt Lake in SLC’s Granary District. Located less than a mile south of downtown SLC and a 10-minute ride from the airport, this convenient location is close to the city and the iconic resorts of Little & Big Cottonwood Canyons. Enjoy on-site access to a bouldering gym (plus yoga), skate park, evo retail store, café, and rooftop bar. Pick up your complimentary premium rentals at evo's full-service shop, adjacent to the hotel lobby. The restaurants & watering holes at Woodbine Food Hall and Slackwater Pizza are a short walk away and provide an array of outstanding dinner options.

Day 2:

Grab your favorite wake-up beverage & a breakfast sandwich from the Curator Café, then head for Brighton or Solitude in Big Cottonwood Canyon. Located just minutes away, these ski areas give you the best of both worlds, between Brighton’s family-friendly, laidback atmosphere, renowned snowfall, and terrain parks, and Solitude’s uncrowded slopes & quintessentially epic powder. After a day on the hill, make your way back to evo Hotel. Sip an après beverage around the firepit at the rooftop Crown Bar, or if you’re feeling extra energetic, hit the Bouldering Project for some restorative yoga. Casual dinner joints like Yoko Taco or Fisher Brewing are only a short walk away, and if you’d like a finer dining experience our concierge can make some excellent recommendations.

Day 3:

If it’s a powder day, we recommend you not hit the snooze button. Rise, shine, caffeinate, and make the short transfer to Snowbird, just over a half hour away in Little Cottonwood Canyon. With a warm-up day behind you, Snowbird provides bountiful and varied terrain to push yourself (we mean that positively) on the snow. With its higher elevation and volume of snow, Snowbird truly lives up to Utah’s “Greatest Snow on Earth” reputation. While all levels will find something to love, for advanced and expert riders you’ll find amazing steeps and off-piste terrain. After you’ve had your fill, your home base in the city awaits. If you want close, easy, and delicious, walk just around the corner to Slackwater Pizzeria & Pub for some well-deserved artisan pizzas and beers.

Day 4:

It’s your final morning, and unless you’ve planned any activities today, we encourage you to sleep in and savor your final stretch at evo Hotel. If you’re feeling ambitious, you are welcome to take a few laps around evo’s All Together Skatepark or hit the bouldering gym. If you are planning to continue your adventure in the Salt Lake area or beyond, or need assistance with next steps in your journey, stop by the front desk and we’ll be happy to help.

Area Information

Utah Skiing and Snowboarding

The license plates in Utah read “Greatest Snow on Earth,” and for good reason. While it’s hard to name the state number one, the skiing and snowboarding in Utah is some of the best in the United States, and the world. Located on the westernmost edge of the Rocky Mountains, Utah’s ski and snowboard areas serve everyone from the most diehard powder hounds to celebrities. Many of these ski and snowboard areas are a half hour away from Salt Lake City, too. This makes Salt Lake City a great home base for longer ski and snowboard vacations, allowing for day trips to many resorts.

Several of Utah’s ski and snowboard areas are clustered close together up the various canyons that wind their way up from Salt Lake City. Perhaps the most famous of these canyons is Little Cottonwood Canyon, where Alta and Snowbird are located. Just over the mountains to the north, Brighton and Solitude are located in Big Cottonwood Canyon.

I'm interested. How do I check to see if my desired travel dates are available at evo Hotel?

I’d like to book. What do I do next?

You can opt to book your ski & stay package by either paying in full through online checkout (select trip date and click book now), or by calling in to customer care to apply a deposit ($190 for any midweek package, $215 for any weekend package).
What if I'd like to add or remove nights or lift tickets from the package?

No problem, just let us know your preferred number of nights and lift tickets, and we can accommodate your request.
What are the accommodations like?

This new, modern hotel is the perfect base camp for adventure. Your trip package includes a double or 4-person occupancy room, for the number of nights you selected. Your accommodations include access to Campus Salt Lake amenities, such as the skate park, bouldering gym, and yoga and fitness classes. With ample gear storage, unique artwork, and modern amenities, each hotel room has been thoughtfully designed to provide all humans with a one-of-a-kind lodging experience.
What is included in my complimentary premium ski or snowboard package?

evo is happy to provide skis, poles, ski boots and helmet, or snowboard, snowboard boots, and helmet for everyone in your party, for the duration of your stay. With evo rentals located in the lobby of your accommodations at evo Hotel, getting squared away with gear for your vacation has never been easier.

Which ski resorts are valid with the included lift tickets?

Your included lift tickets are valid at any of the following four resorts: Snowbird, Alta, Brighton, and/or Solitude. These resorts are also, conveniently, the closest resorts to evo Hotel and provide an incredible array of world-class skiing & snowboarding access.
Can I arrange private transfers to/from the resorts?

Yes, if you would like to arrange private transfers between evo Hotel and any of the resorts, Pro Trans Transportation offers exclusive rates for evo Hotel guests (between 630am and 11pm). SUV Service for 1 - 5 passengers: $100.00 each way, all-inclusive (regular price is $175.00) Van Service for 6 - 14 passengers: $150.00 each way, all-inclusive (regular price is $300.00) In order to book, please call Pro Trans at 1-877-255-2631.
Do I need travel insurance?

While it is not required, we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance for all trips. Travel insurance allows you to seek reimbursement if you are forced to cancel your trip for unforeseeable reasons, or if you need to cover medical help, emergency transport, theft and/or accidental damage while traveling. We recommend World Nomads.
What if I need to cancel?

If you need to cancel your trip package, you may do so up until 72 hours prior to arrival without cancellation penalty. Within 72 hours, packages are non-refundable less the cost of lift tickets ($135 per included lift ticket).

Perfect blend for a family with active kids. Out skiing all day and bouldering in the early evening. Kids loved the bunk beds and the black out curtain to separate them was a nice surprise. We arrived super late and the check-in desk was waiting and ready for us. We even were able to take a quick shower in the locker room before heading to the airport in the evening after skiing all day which was super nice.

Absolutely amazing property. Trendy and comfortable. From the skate park and 80ft rock climbing wall to the adventure sports store and infrared sauna, this place is ahead if it’s time. I thoroughly enjoyed my morning yoga practices and evenings in the hotel living room listening to strangers play the guitar hanging on the wall. I will be back.

We (family of 4 - 7 yo & 10 yo) stayed a week at the Evo Hotel to explore the surrounding mountains and hang out with friends who live in SLC. The location was convenient and close to the mountains (the freeway I-15 was a couple of blocks away) and all major roads leading into the canyons and to Park City/Deer Valley are right there. There were a ton of amenities in the hotel and great places to eat and explore a very short walk away at Woodbine and a brewery at Kiito. We demoed skis and purchased them right there in the shop which was amazing as the staff was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. We enjoyed the common areas and we all had fun bouldering in the climbing gym. We never made it to a yoga class or into the skate park because of needing down time from all of the skiing but everything was right there - we did enjoy the sauna after a long day on the slopes! I highly recommend the hotel!
