A full fledged powder shape with tons of rocker at each end, the Faction Prodigy 4 Skis let you lay down some seriously creative tracks when the going gets deep. Built around a lightweight Poplar wood core with Faction's trademark XL 2.5mm edges and elliptical sidecut, the Prodigy is the perfect choice for tip butter and slash specialists when the snow is over a foot deep.

Sidecut
Elliptical Sidecut – Elliptical Sidecut is made up of a longer radius underfoot and shorter radii in the tip and tail of the ski. The long radius underfoot means you can pivot faster and easier, while a shorter radius in the tip and tail result in easier turn initiation. This sidecut allows for a wide variety of turn lengths, angles and mounting positions.

Rocker/Camber/Rocker Rocker/Camber/Rocker skis have the playfulness and float of a rockered ski as well as the added edge hold of a cambered ski. The contact points on skis with this profile are closer towards the middle of the ski than a fully cambered ski, but still not underfoot. The cambered midsection provides a longer effective edge on hardpack, increasing edge hold and stability, while the rockered tip and tail provide floatation in deeper snow and allow the ski to initiate and release from turns easier.
